Loved the 3 day weekend....

Ok, Our weekend was very nice.

Friday...I got off work early to pick up DS from school and we hit walmart to grab the last of the stuff we needed for camping. Yep we went camping to start off the summer months of fun. We headded down to some friends propety set up the trailer and that was the start of our weekend.

Saterday.. We had a BBQ at the same place we were camping there were about 30 people who came down to the rive and we sat around chatting, eating and relaxing. It was a nice time and it was fun to just hang out with the kids and spend some family time. DD did so well, I was a bit nervious about having her around the river, campfire ect but she did so well. We took her little potty with us and it worked out very well. It never fails that she waits tell the last minute to tell us that she needs to go and the nearest bathroom was about a 2 block walk when you need to use the John. We survied with no major accidents which was a blessing us as she is accident prone. DS got to go fishing for the first time and he loved it, he got some quality Daddy and son time in which was nice.

Sunday...We headded home. The kids were begging us to go home they were tired, and were so done camping. We got home around Noon and got everything un-packed kids showered ect. and they were asleep on the couch by 2 and they booth took very long naps and still went to bed very early.

Monday..Was a relax day at home. We went to a bowling party in the afternoon which was a nice way to end the weekend for us. They we headded home to get ready for the week. And the weather man says the warm weather is here. YIPPY.
